General Motors Tells Tiger Woods No More Buick For You

November 25, 2008 · 1 Comment

Tiger Woods and General Motors have ended their affiliation a year ahead of their agreement. General Motors in a veiled attempt to look like they are doing something about their financial plight also announced, that CEO Rick Wagoner wont be taking a private jet to Washington to plead with the government for bailout money. What a complete crock. Tiger Woods isn’t going to miss the money can we agree to that? Take a look at what Tiger Woods UDA memorabilia sell for I have a better idea, lets fire Wagoner. He is a proven failure at running an auto conglomerate. He makes millions every year to be... [Read the full story]

Plaxico Burress accepts deal for prison term

August 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Plaxico Burress accepted a deal from New York prosecutors and pleaded guilty to a felony weapons charge. Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in a New York nightclub. Under the terms of the agreement Plaxico will serve two years in prison with a chance to get out in 20 months with good behavior. I have never been a fan of Burress nor will I ever be, however, this sentence to be imposed in late September seems a little harsh to me. There was no criminal intent proven nor was he accused of criminal intent. It was a mistake to carry the gun. We all understand that however. Two years for accidentally... [Read the full story]

Government Steps In With More Billions

November 25, 2008 · Leave a Comment

You know sometimes our government baffles us all. The truth is most of time it does. In a country where many are in debt beyond what they can ever repay, this golden nugget wisdom surfaces.  “The government has introduced a pair of new programs that will provide $800 billion to help unfreeze the market for consumer debt, which Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson calls vital to supporting the economy. Paulson says key markets for consumer debt such as credit cards, auto loans and student loans essentially came to a halt in October. He says the new programs are aimed to get lending back to more... [Read the full story]

Geico Insurance Gecko Still The One

May 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment

It would appear that Geico Insurance Company has added an advertising partner to their hugely successful Geico Gecko and Cave Man Characters. The mysterious stack of dollar bills crowned with a set of big eyes. For the record while the stack of bills was mildly amusing at first but it certainly does not come close to rivaling the Gecko. Car Insurance Companies are fiercely competitive with one another. Progressive Insurance has their dingy sales lady in the make believe insurance center. We have always had an opportunity to be in good hands with Allstate and like a good neighbor State Farm has... [Read the full story]

John Edwards Sex Scandal and His Very Own Press Pass

The John Edwards sex scandal if you want to call it that is not quite the story it could be. Why is that? Because he gets his own press pass. Its simple really. The liberal press leaves liberals alone, especially in  an election year. I was reading on another site today The Conservative Pulse and they reasoned that “If Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee... Read more of this article

Jesse Jackson, Whats Down In The Well Will Come Up In The Bucket

Jesse Jackson consistently finds ways to keep his name in the limelight doesn’t he? His claim, caught on camera Sunday by FOX News, that Barack Obama is “talking down to black people” not only triggered a media firestorm and a procession of public apologies from Jackson. Basically say what you want and ask for forgiveness later. It is  rather... Read more of this article
