Paul Newman today turned over in excess of 120 million dollars to charity . Word has leaked out of his bout with cancer. If I were betting I would say he will beat that. Newman represents something we don’t see anymore in movies. He just had that presence on screen that made you want more. To date one of my favorite moves is Cool Hand Luke. That move has more sub plots and meanings than anyone ever really new. I still watch it every time I see it listed on cable.
