People in Malaysia and Singapore who are currently beta testing the new Breeze mobile banking platform offered by Standard Chartered Bank already know what an exceptional and innovative product this is but the rest of the world is just starting to learn about the incredible design and features. This this online and mobile banking solution currently operated on the iPhone, although it will also be available for download on the iPad in the next month.

Soon, Breeze will expand to other areas of the world to include India and Hong Kong but it will also be rolling out internationally before long. When that happens, people will be scrambling to go through the signup process, eager to enjoy the many benefits of this time, effort, and money-saving solution. Designed specifically to make online and mobile banking easier and more convenient for personal and business customers, the Chartered Breeze platform is truly one of a kind.

Once Breeze is available globally, the process to get started is just as quick and easy as using the mobile banking solution itself. For starters, people would need to have a checking and/or savings account with Standard Chartered Bank specifically for the online services. For this, they would logon to the bank’s website at www.standardchartered.com. From there, people would choose the preferred type of account, deposit money to fund the account(s), and then choose a user name and PIN (personal identification number).

From there, people would choose between downloading the application for online banking or for Breeze specific to iPhone. Keep in mind that the user name and PIN chosen for the online banking services would be the same used to access the Breeze application via mobile device. Currently, only iPhone is available with Breeze but next month, Apple’s iPad will also be an option.

When choosing the Breeze application for the iPhone, they would simply follow the link for iTunes since the download is found within the iTunes store. From there, the directions would be followed and in no time, the application installation would be completed. Of course, for people who do not yet own an Apple iPhone, to run Breeze mobile banking one would need to be purchased.

When finished, people would have the ability to gain access to their accounts with Standard Chartered Bank, anytime day or night and from anywhere in the world. At this point, the fun begins, a time when bank customers can start researching all the different features and functionalities. Although people signing up for Breeze know they will enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience, until they have the chance to use the service, they cannot fully understand the tremendous benefits.

Everything associated with Breeze is unique and designed based on what the public said it wanted. Rather than assume they knew what customers were looking for in an online and mobile banking solution, the IT professionals with Standard Chartered Bank surveyed and interviews people to hear first-hand what did and did not work. The result of that exercise is the Breeze mobile banking application to run on iPhone that will soon be available to people everywhere and without disappointing.

Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in a New York nightclub. Under the terms of the agreement Plaxico will serve two years in prison with a chance to get out in 20 months with good behavior. I have never been a fan of Burress nor will I ever be, however, this sentence to be imposed in late September seems a little harsh to me. There was no criminal intent proven nor was he accused of criminal intent. It was a mistake to carry the gun. We all understand that however. Two years for accidentally shooting yourself in the leg might be a little overboard. Plaxico Burress made a mistake in that New York nightclub and soon he will begin to pay his debt in earnest. That’s a shame.I guess there are those who will say he got what he deserved, I’ll pass on that one.

The mysterious stack of dollar bills crowned with a set of big eyes. For the record while the stack of bills was mildly amusing at first but it certainly does not come close to rivaling the Gecko.

Car Insurance Companies are fiercely competitive with one another. Progressive Insurance has their dingy sales lady in the make believe insurance center. We have always had an opportunity to be in good hands with Allstate and like a good neighbor State Farm has always been there (unless of course you own a home in Florida insured by State Farm). However the Gecko is in a league of its own for originality, cleverness and marketability. The little lizard seemingly has a personality, charisma and believability.

I have been a State Farm car insurance policy owner for 35 years and this gecko has me thinking about giving Geico a call. That’s what advertising is supposed to do and the Gecko wins the battle of car insurance. You can always find free auto insurance quotes but where are you going to find a Geck .

You know sometimes our government baffles us all. The truth is most of time it does. In a country where many are in debt beyond what they can ever repay, this golden nugget wisdom surfaces. “The government has introduced a pair of new programs that will provide $800 billion to help unfreeze the market for consumer debt, which Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson calls vital to supporting the economy.
Paulson says key markets for consumer debt such as credit cards, auto loans and student loans essentially came to a halt in October. He says the new programs are aimed to get lending back to more normal levels. Exactly what is normal lending. Is It Time To Refinance Your Home Mortgage
Paulson says all the government programs have been aimed at supporting the lending that is vital to the economy.”
So this is not misunderstood, we are in debt, as individuals and as a country so we borrow more money and get in more debt? First off how many have credit scores worthy of obtaining a loan in the first place? Is this not another band aid fix? It sure seems so to this observer.

Here we go again and again. The CitGroup bailout is all but approved and another irresponsible private company is getting relief form the government. So the question I have is when does this stop. The big three automakers are going to get some type of bailout, and now the Citigroup bailout.

Citigroup is in this mess for making risky loans and securities backed by commercial and residential mortgages. I had a mortgage foreclosed on last Tuesday, Florida Bank Foreclosures happen everyday and people need foreclosure help , where were you then Uncle Sam? It is a very simple principle, you cannot continue to borrow money after borrowing money, at some point someone needs to be paid. Unless of course you a big business. Consumers must face the consequences of unpaid bills, bi business just ask for a handout. What is wrong with this picture?

The fix for this thing has to be to let it break and not prop it up with Citgroup bailout or a big three bailout. Otherwise big companies just keep doing what they have always done.

Unemployment hit a 4-year high at 6.5 % in October, most experts are calling for a jobless rate of 8 % in the coming months. What that means is many Americans are going to be changing careers and obviously employers. So what career field in the most likely to fill that need? Career Explorer list the ten hottest careers for 2009. 7 of those are in the medical field. Which Medical careers are in demand? Just about any type of support staff, from medical assistants, to medical records personnel, and everything in between. is in demand. Why?

People get sick in any economy and the health care industry is always open for individuals that are dedicated and are willing to be trained. Oddly Network Systems and Data Communications Analysts are listed as the number one available position followed closely by Physicians assistants. The fact is many people will be forced to choose a new career. Think about auto workers. Where will they go?

Seems bankruptcy happens to anybody. Country singer Lorrie Morgan has filed for bankruptcy for primarily business related debts, according to a court filing. The truth is its hard for me to feel sorry for Lorrie Morgan as she lists assets of somewhere between $500,000.00 and a million. The 49-year-old singer, who lives in the Nashville suburb of Lebanon, released a statement calling the bankruptcy “an unfortunate yet necessary part of the restructuring of my business.” Now how would like to be a creditor knowing she is going to hang on to a million smackers. That is unfortunately the cost of bankruptcy in this country, however bankruptcy to me is can’t pay the rent or buy food. Just my thoughts . Morgan lists her creditors as the Internal Revenue Service, banks, lawyers and others. Ms.. Lorrie Morgan, the IRS does not discharge back taxes nor do bankruptcy courts
