Ok you had to know this was coming but the Golf Channel Tiger Woods website is reporting that Tiger will miss the remainder of the 2008 PGA season. Reports are sketchy right now , but he couldn’t have done his knee any good playing in the 2008 US Open. Woods sustained a “small stress fracture” in his left leg about two week before the Open, which was causing him pain throughout the tournament, the Golf Channel said, citing unidentified people. The world’s top-ranked golfer needs surgery to repair his anterior cruciate ligament and rest “to get him back to 100 percent,” Golf Channel said.
