John Edwards Sex Scandal and His Very Own Press Pass

The John Edwards sex scandal if you want to call it that is not quite the story it could be. Why is that? Because he gets his own press pass. Its simple really. The liberal press leaves liberals alone, especially in  an election year. I was reading on another site today The Conservative Pulse and they reasoned that “If Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee had been caught behaving like this, you can be darn sure that CNN anchors would be breaking into their regular programming to eat it up like vultures.” The writer went on to say that a double standard was being set. Well that’s nothing new is it? I could not agree more. We have already shown that it’s okay for the liberal to have extramarital affairs, heck even if you are in the Oval Office.
The John Edwards sex scandal should remain the business of Jonathan Edwards. The fact that it occurred while his wife suffers form cancer is subject matter for another post;  But, it’s easy for the press to turn their heads when it affects the liberals.
