Puppy Kills 2 Month Old Boy Left in Swing in Oklahoma

Oh my goodness this is a tragic story out of Oklahoma Police say a puppy has attacked and killed a 2-month-old boy who was left unattended in a swing. Officer Jason Willingham said Monday the baby was mauled by the Labrador at the boy’s home and died at the scene. He says the dog will most likely be destroyed. Willingham says the baby’s mother and grandmother were home, but nobody was in the room at the time. Police are unsure why the dog attacked. I cannot imagine the grief this family must be feeling at the loss of their son.
The puppy, infant, and mother are all innocent victims of irresponsible parenting. The mother was only 17 years old, the infant was only a few weeks old (barely able to support its own head- should NEVER have been left alone for more than a moment), and I saw the picture of the lab- a furry little guy that looks like it could barely stand up! The ‘grandparents’ allowed their daughter to get pregnant in high school and then essentially neglected their grandchild. They are the ones that should be punished. Killing the puppy doesn’t do anything!
The family looks like they are on meth.. Seriously, how do you not know your child is screaming. That puppy was small it must have taken it a while to “maul” the baby…. They should all be charged with neglect.
@ Ed , I cant say I disagree with you I would take the puppy home with me right now, there is more to come on this story
@ Susan , Unfortunately children are a hindrance to lots of people today and neglect is more widespread than we think, it really a sad state of affairs we are in
