Seriously, how do you not know your child is screaming. That puppy was small it must have taken it a while to "maul" the baby.... They should all be charged with neglect. The mother was only 17 years old, the infant was only a few weeks old (barely able to support its own head- should NEVER have been left alone for more than a moment), and I saw the picture of the lab- a furry little guy that looks like it could barely stand up! The 'grandparents' allowed their daughter to get pregnant in high school and then essentially neglected their grandchild. They are the ones that should be punished.
