Steven Curtis Chapman is making appearances on various TV shows including Good Morning America to discuss the tragic loss of his daughter. Chapman’s 5-year-old daughter, Maria Sue, died May 21 after being struck by a car driven by her teenage brother in the driveway of the family’s Tennessee home. For those of us with children the reality of losing one of your babies is something you choose not to think about. Steven Curtis Chapan and his wife are forced to do so, every day. It truly is a test of his faith . the family hopes that these appearances will serve as a chance to proclaim “what they know and are deeply convinced of even in these difficult days, the Gospel is true and faith in Christ is our Hope,” I cannot fathom such a loss and our prayers are with this family, Nothing can prepare Steven Curtis Chapman for this tragedy , but nothing can sustain him like his faith either.
