It is that time of year. The hurricane season. Tropical Storm Bertha has formed in the Atlantic. The Weather Channels rating go up and people everywhere will follow its track. My question is, why is that? Why do we get so enchanted with these storms? I live in Florida and I can tell you these storms , even Tropical Storm Bertha will be the talk of the day. As they draw closer to land it really gets crazy. I think its more than just the danger. People seemingly want to go toe to toe with one of these storms and be able to say they withstood the test. Im serious. Tropical Storm Bertha is  out to sea at this point , but you just wait , we will have another and the general populace will go nuts. I wonder if its the same thing that makes people watch a car race, for the accidents?
