You are an insensitive asshole. What is so wrong with enjoying life? Nothing. Nobody deserves what happened to him and yes he family does have to deal with the pain, but you need to show a little more respect.

No one is saying that Eddie made all the right decisions. All I am saying is have some respect. No one deserves to die such a violent death at such a young age. You people who think he deserved it are sick.

What happened to Eddie was tragic and undeserved. However, accepting that he played a role in his fate is not the same as saying he deserved it. Eddie deserves more credit than to be lumped into a stereotype of invincible irreverent spoiled college kids, but the fact that he made decisions leading directly to his killing cant be ignored. There are plenty of college kids who put themselves in similar situations by making similar decisions and would benefit greatly by the example that Eddie set. Those who were friends to eddie know why no one has been taken into custody, why no details have been released, and why a violent person such as the one that took Eddie's life knew where he'd be on a saturday afternoon. Why let the media and the country go on thinking someone entirely innocent was killed for no apparent reason in Miami... it could lead to the deaths of other college students who don't understand the serious consequences of the lifestyle Eddie chose and maintained regardless of threats and warnings. Eddie was a good guy who made some stupid decisions, we knew this about him when he was alive and there's no reason to change stories now...

It is a shame that such an apparently great guy was robbed of his life in such a horrible way but I think honestly... hit the nail on the head and is saying what a few of you are in denial over. Robbed at gunpoint in his home in May and only took cash?? Nobody in that neighborhood gets randomly robbed at gunpoint for cash. Clearly that day that someone robbed him they were there because they knew this kid kept loads of cash on hand which probably came from some unsavory business dealings. As for this weekend's event, the cops haven't mentioned finding anything unusual in the house because that is what he lost his life for. New reports say now that unmarked vials of a clear liquid were found in the yard. Now I wonder what that could be? Someone "took the money and ran" dropping a few valuable items in their haste.

No one deserves to dia such a violent death at such a young age. I wish you people could just allow everyone to grieve in piece without instead of subjecting us to your self righteous rants.

Why is it that when someone is the victim of a violent act, there's always someone else there to insinuate that they deserved it or brought it on themselves. You have no idea why Eddie was killed, so why speculate? Leave Eddie alone, he was a great kid and what matters is that a senseless act of violence took a very young and promising man away from us.

Honestly guys come on.

I hardly knew eddie but most people at University of Miami knew him for one reason or another. And it's pretty obvious why.

Sarah, honey, come on. If you're one of his best friends I'm sure you know that what his interests are on myspace are hardly an over-exaggeration. Probably not exaggerated enough.

And "ME" sweetheart, we all know why "EVERYONE" liked him. And it wasn't for his personality..shall we say his generosity? Hm. Not sure how to word it PG. Just think again before you call him innocent...

DJ- you're right. He apparently thought he was bullet proof and lived his life in the fast lane. Spoiled rotten kids who do not understand real consequences in life should learn the real story of Eddie. I do not think there's anything wrong with partying a little in college but I would call Eddie's behavior far beyond "partying." He had several warnings that were extreme enough for a sane person to change his behavior. However, he apparently continued to make poor decisions and put his own life in danger.

All of Eddie's "friends" (i know there are a lot!)- If you keep asking yourself "Why?" Turn to Darwin.

@ Me I have two sons of my own , 25 and 23 I have watched their friends be hurt and killed, not because they were bad people because of bad people being around them , I was your age and I mentioned that in my post. I was fortunate to get through it, I did not know Eddie , you are correct and I mentioned that as well. The point is don't put yourself in situations that put yourself at risk , why is that so hard to understand? Feel free to tell us all about the Eddie Pieron you knew and I will post on this page. I dont like young men or women being taken in their youth by sickos either.
