NAME            swtmp -- update accounting file



SYNOPSIS        swtmp



DESCRIPTION     This shell sequence concatenates /tmp/wtmp onto

                /usr/adm/wtmp and truncates /tmp/wtmp.  It should

                be used before using acct(VIII) and every so of-

                ten in any case if accounting is to be main-

                tained.
