NAME            nm  --  get name list



SYNOPSIS        nm [ name ]



DESCRIPTION     nm prints the symbol table from the output file

                of an assembler or loader run.  Only relocatable,

                global, and undefined symbols-- not absolute--

                are given.  Each defined symbol is preceded by

                its value; each undefined symbol by blanks.  Glo-

                bal symbols have their first character under-

                lined.  The output is sorted alphabetically.



                If no file is given, the symbols in a.out are

                listed.
